What would happen if there were no cars,buses, train, boats or planes?

If there were no cars,buses, train, boats or planes people would walk. They might use bicycle, hitchhiking,etc. It can improve their lifestyle because of daily exercise. People would be more healthier. But it would really affect the economy of the world. Just like shipping of clothes, food, raw materials,etc. You can't also tour far places such as Spain, Greece, Italy and other western places. Or even just going to work or school would be hard. It's kinda sad and happy in the same time.
