What would happen if there were no televisions? Would this be good? bad?

In my own opinion, television is one of the most important inventions in this world. It looks like it's already part of our daily lives. It brings news, documentaries, and other informational reports all over the world. Children would likely watch television to watch cartoon.

If there were no televisions, people would gain advantages and disadvantages. People might panic because they are not use to it. Most people use television as their main source of information. Not all of us read news papers. Other people don't know how to use computer. But having no TV would encourage us to read more. People would be more smarter by reading. They can also listen to the radio. I think the only good things of having TV is getting information more efficiently and better view, watching sports events and having good entertainment.
